I was recently tasked with designing a product launch graphic for a new line of artisanal skincare. The brand had a rich, historical aesthetic they wanted to highlight, and I needed a font that could carry that weight without overshadowing the content. That’s when I pulled out Kate. As a Blackletter typeface, Kate is built on the foundations of medieval calligraphy, with sharp, authoritative strokes and high contrast.
